PAL meets every Wednesday from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm at Vinland Lutheran Church, 2750 NW Finn Hill Road, Poulsbo, WA, 98370. We do not meet during the month of December.

Our meetings are informal and unstructured. Members work on their own art and share what they’re doing with each other. We have artists who work with watercolor, oil, acrylic and many other media. We support each other fully no matter where we are in our artistic journey. New artists are welcome.

On the Third Wednesday of the month, we offer an Art Demonstration or a Creative Challenge to those in attendance at the meeting.

Art Demonstrations offer lessons and techniques in various art mediums (how to make Marbled Paper or how to create a collage artwork).

Creative Challenges offer the opportunity for anyone to participate if they choose to do so. We had a Portrait Drawing Challenge where we chose a member in attendance to draw their portrait with a 15 minute time limit. There was lots of laughter and kidding as we attempted to do the impossible, but all enjoyed the session and learned something from it.
